Milo discovering the gym instead of Atlantis

What is a blog?

What do you do with a blog?

It’s absolutely insane.

It’s crazy as a non-social human being(in the internet sense), writing something out of your brain to display for others. I’ve got thousands upon thousands of words of content prepared for tabletop games, things I’ve poured my heart and soul into.

Are they worth posting? Probably, there could be some traction there. Things that people could find, ideas some may find steal worthy. Cooo mechanics, We’ll see.

It’s interesting, originally I created this blog as a way to generate content for the masses, I imagined myself as one of those big time bloggers that had a huge following, someone who just had shit spray out of their proverbial mouth that made people inspired that people copied and brought into their games, I’m not sure what I was chasing, maybe just recognition I think that’s all human’s crave. Respect, recognition, understanding, people want to be understood. It’s the affliction of thought.

I don’t think that’s what this blog will be. I don’t really have that personality, I’m creative sure. but not like that. I’ve got ideas. Concepts I’d like to share. But I’m not sure if I’m the production guy. I’m more of the iteration kind of dude.

I’m basically backing away from what the idealized idea of a blog is, and just posting what comes to my head when I have an idea for it. I think there’s a lot to psycho analyze, thoughts to elicit, and the more I post here, the more I’ll get comfortable with posting how I feel and putting my general persona out there.

That’s kind of the idea isn’t it. Creating something that makes your mark on the world at large. Even if it’s lost in the sea of ever changing carnage that is the internet. It’s like writing a book. We all just want to be remembered past that final moment.

Honk.
